2009 = New year!!!

Had a 'new yr eve' celebration ytd wif my jc classmates.... lolx finally saw 2 pple tt i haven seen for AGES. =D so happi got steamboat for dinner at yq's(qiang ge) hse =] not much to blog abt lah. we got a sudden urge for alcohol so we bought breezer to drink while watching 9pm channel 8 hot show.... yea u noe wat....lolx Ger as usual turned red but cos nt drunk, congrets in achieving a half-face red instead of a whole face whoot! lolx sorrz ger make fun of ya had lots of laughing as usual. Happy New Year Eve pple!!!! okay mayb i shld come up wif my new yr resolutions soon =)

Went to a jc schmate's hse ytd =) didnt do much just played mahjong for an hr nia cos my mum didnt wan me to go home late.... sianz.... haha
Dis Max, a golden, 5 yrs old & weigh 40kg.....lolx overwt =D there's another dog but didnt get a pic of him, both males btw =) both r v friendly & they keep licking me.... lolx deprived female attention??? haha i duno lah jus anihow guess =D there's my fren's sec sch frens the photographer(gal) too so im nt the onli gal k =) lolx the mj guy's standing next to me. frens frm mj may recognise him =) the guy in front of me is frm chc too so ger u may recgonise him =)

Went home on bus 15 & met rubayn & my pri sch fren on the bus. They cldnt recognised me at first until i called them.... lolx my fren sae i look better wif long hair leh..... =)

Merry xmas to all! =) spent ytd wif my jc classmates totally cool except for de fact tt it's raining...damping de spirits a little though but we all had fun =). went to buy food wif ng in de morn @ 10am...met up wif justine & poon lata, then jaz @ ng's hse. Ng's mum cooked de fried rice...yummy!!!

My results r released todae & im nt too happi wif de outcome.... gt a D.... for dreadful.....haiz. Nt too happi wif my CAP oso sianz but my Christmas nt ruined luckily =) Cnt wait to see my frens & spend the eve tog along wif my jc classmates =)

A brand new haircut finally!!!

Went m'sia these 2 daes & finally get a new haircut =D so happy yeahey! the ball of hair below is the back view of my new hairstyle....lolx my hairstyle didnt change much just cut the back & trim my fringe, the sidestyle is kept =)

Had a chance to see my new youngest cousin =) its like 1 generation apart..... haiz feeling old atm..... tsk tsk tsk Here's my cute little cous =D

Still v bored

I hav almost bored myself to death at home, dun even feel like going out cos im like totally broke... so i look at smth i did out of fun & tot i shld complete it =D

The middle one is my latest masterpiece, currently called the 'rock trio' lolx but i was hoping tt i wld hav a drummer to complete the whole band mayb another guitarist wld b nice too =D Yea, gota get my haircut on sun!!! which is just 1-2 daes away =D yeppy!!!! cnt wait. new hairstyle here i come!!!! lolx =D

Basketball

Just came back nt long ago from nick's hse...lolx had lots of fun todae, haven had so much fun for so long thx guys for spending the wonderful dae wif me muacks to all! =D

Played bball in the morn supposely but... i arrived late &.... deres still no ball in sight... lolx so we called Sharon our savior came... actually she just woke up wen justine called her, heehee. so while waiting for de darlin ball Tsz suggested playin ice & water.... lolx onli me & ng didnt play which is a wise choice... haha they r all panting after the game =D

Played Nitendo Wii!!!!!! lolx so fun. Played tennis, bowling (sharon's pro), boxing (Justine tried to attack me & nic physically wen she cldnt do much on virtually....lolx), guiter heros world tour (poon's total pro, nic cldnt even match her....lolx i cnt play tt i totally sux =X). Below is me & justine playing tennis... HAHAHA but she look like she's gona throw the controller at the TV & smash it.... hahaha got the video of justine playing boxing wif nic & poon playing wif sharon but too bad my com cnt load it cos dun hav realplayer.... guys lady luck's on u so the rest of the world dun hav ta see how unglam & funny u all were.... HEEHEE HAHAHAHA =P

Pasir Ris Mangrove

I promised myself tt ill visit de mangrove in Pasir Ris soon & since i was feeling totally bored, i chose to go todae =) I didnt realised tt de mangrove was so near my hse....lolx The weather was lookin great wen i set off @ ard 1230-1300.... i noe crazy time to walk in a park but again de weather's great, cloudy & nt much sun Hurray =D deres de cute map of de area =)
Deres alot of crabs grazing the low tide areas wen i walk along a stretch of the walkway. pretty sight. Above is de Episesarma Singaporense aka S'pore vinegar crab which r tree-climbing on high tides to avoid predators tt hunt wif de incoming tide. Dere r 3 species of Eppy which r differenciated by the colour of the claws.

There's a fish in de centre of de pic on de mount of earth.... i spoted it along the trail of crabs earlier. Dunno wats de name..... Most prob the mudskipper....

If u notice carefully, ull c de Rhizophora propugule in de middle of de pic.

Try to spot a shell in the middle of the pic, its camofludged.... lolx i spotted it along de trail again. I predict it's Diogenes sp aka mangrove hermit crab which arent closely related to true crabs. It not likely to be Cerithedia obtusa aka the mud creeper (snail) most commonly known as 'chut-chut'... comparing the two posters pics i took along de wae.... it looks more likely de shell of de hermit crab....

That's the bird-watching tower but too bad i didnt see any birds.... =(

A few metres away frm the bird-watching tower are 2 bird-watching hut. Behind a hut lurks some danger..... Beware

Nearby de swarp is a eco pond but theres nth except some plants ard de pond...disappointed

Dis u wldnt expect wld b branched off frm a drain wldnt u? but in fact it is!!!! Surprise surprise thats y i didnt realise tt the mangrove's so near me & i hav walked past it so many times & i didnt noe.....lolx. The left bank's the swarp & the right bank is just pasir ris park; costa sands resort & downtown east =) Wen i walked out frm the area its bloody freaking hot!!!! (pardon the language) yea so much sun..... haiz dere my little adventure ended rather quick. if any care to come for a tour i wld gladly take u dere =)

Sungei Buloh wetland reserve

Woke up dis morn @ 0520!!!! haha so early. Had breakfast then rush off to catch de 6am bus but i waited for almost 30mins!!!! haiz....

Reached admiralty at ard 7am to wait for my fren @ 740 which i waited to 750 but...... he nv appeared....haiz... then took a cab for 9 bucks & reached @ 810. So i missed the guided tour.... haiz hence im a little saddened....nah, im nt angry wif my fren. I thus went sightsee & track the trail by my own, quite plesant walk as i cn do things @ my own pace =)

The Casuarina equisetifolia aka common Ru hu's wood is used as timber. Above shown de casuarina tree which has been chopped down. Its fruits can also b seen. =)
The Dillenia/Wormia suffruticosa aka Simpoh Air. Its flower and fuits r as shown above. This species can b found throughout S'pore.

I saw a blue bird along the trail & i guessed tt dere's a high chance t it's de kingfisher but i didnt managed to take a pic of it.... so sad. Reached de end of the trail rather quickly... nt much to see coz no animals sighted & no guide.... Drifted ard the area & realised tt the Kranji Resevior is just beside. So beautiful de scene & dere's a couple fishing nearby =)

De other side of the road, near here's de Kranji battle site but i didnt went further in. Dun wanna get lost.... lolx

Saw dis weed along de road & at de bus stop near de park's entrance. So pretty, a variation of the previous white one =)

Tt's a wild dog dere, it came beside me for a while b4 goin on on its wae.....

Dis fly landed beside me & kept me company for a while b4 flying off. Left alone again @ de busstop waiting for bus 925 to Woodlands. Took 168 @ woodlands to Tampines. Went library then shoppin for awhile b4 heading to back to Pasir Ris. Ate KFC.... haha been so long since i last ate. Let me see.... 3 mths.... since i started sch i haven touched it.... lolx

Last dae in hall....

I just came back frm hall in de morn, todae was my last dae dere on dis yr... so sad.... Moved all my stuffs out of my room. I didnt realised tt my clothes r heavy.... lolx they r & wen they r piled up, they occupy quite a bit of space though i tink mine's nt TT much =)

Slept @ my fren's neighbour's room last nite. Was really cooling & didnt wan to wake up. Really nice view.

After Minds cafe, we made our wae towards Paya Lebar for buffet!!!

Tt's our recipt.... haha we spent that much but it's kinda worth it cos we ate lots of seafood such as prawns, fish, scallops, sharkfin soup etc... yea plus our bdae gal of de mth doesnt nd to pay!!!! cool man. Excluding de rest of de dishes below de buffet thingy (those r siok's to her mum cos her mum's bdae was ytd) we had a fulfilling dae & dinner + it's totally worth it. =D

Siok's was like, U wear yr sunglass then take pic (to me). De thing covering her eyes, actually de tray holding the wet paper towels.... haha, fashion statement 101, by siok!!! Yea, its a trend to wear these type of barred glasses, though i tot i to b somewat silly..oops lolx. Me & siok acting cute actually, lov tt cut off teeth bared by poon & justine's lame smile... haha.
